"I was now resolved to do everything in my power to defeat the system." Oskar Schindler
|
Modern Day Disciple
Oskar Schindler is a modern day disciple because he is a very charismatic person and shows many qualities and attributes of God. Oskar shows the attribute of power very well throughout his life because although he has tons of power , he uses it very well to save over 1,200 innocent people from their death. Schindler also shows off goodness through his actions. By saving a lot of Jews, he is performing the same actions that God would have done himself in the same position. Not only were his actions the same as those of God’s, but his actions were also incredibly honourable, morally right, and also very virtuous. Lastly, Oskar is a great example of someone who shows lots of agape love. By saving the lives of many, Oskar shows that he is clearly showing unselfish, self-giving love, and expected nothing in return from those who he saved.
